lick lick lick...
...followed by a big SIGH of DISCONTENT and disgust!
Oh, get your dirty mind out of the toilet.
It's not like I did it to him...my cat! He's very fat and fluffy now so he has more real estate to clean. Last night he gets up on the bed and begins the task. Jingle Jingle (his tag) lick lick lick.......huh.....I get a "look". Really? Really Charlie, it's not like you didn't ask for all those viddles. It's like fat people. All of a sudden they want to sue McDonalds! I think it's YOUR responsibility to know that restaurants are not there with you when you step on the scales or catch of glimpse of yourself in the mirror coming out of the shower. They do NOT care if your butt gets big or you have to shop for a double digit size for the first time. Nope! You should know that even the healthy choices or so-called at eateries contain a lot of calories. They're served on an enormous plate or platter to make you think you're getting a real value. It's also so they can charge more per entree. Don't think I don't suffer from this too....I love to go out to eat...I love to have drinks and dessert with the girls. BUT...I simply looked at my overweight cat realizing he should probably go on Kitty and being close to 40 now I should probably watch my diet too.

I believe it's rather rude to refer to overweight people as "FAT". There are many "FAT" people who are healthier than their "THIN" counterparts.
ReplyDeleteNot all "FAT" people eat at McDonalds. Some FAT people eat healthy and exercise. They DO have thyriod problems, hormone issues, and even slow metabolisms. Not THEIR fault.
I know a man who is as thin as a rail and has to drink extra high calorie shakes throughout the day to stay THIN and not waste away.
Hollywood has given us actors and actresses who puke in the toilet in order to look like a skeleton which translates well on camera.
Remember this....Marilyn Monroe was a size 14.
I don't think it's your provenance to label people or state who's fault it is.
BTW, your kitty might have been weaned too early which can cause food issues. And, you're the one who leaves the foodbowl on the floor all day and night so kitty can get kibble. Maybe Kitty is bored. Maybe its YOUR responsibility to limit Kitty's meals to three times a day at the recommended amount. Or is Kitty the moron for not knowing what his daily recommended amount is.
You're kitty could die early of hepatic lipadosis and many other ailments, but thats kitties fault, because HE's the one in charge of his meals. Right?
No retort?
ReplyDeleteIt's important to understand the humor in one's blog, the observational points made. You cannot take life too seriously. Being overweight is a problem. I myself have an extra seven pounds right now I'm working hard to get rid of. It's a challenge, but I can laugh at myself and others in a good hearted way. Oh, and by the way, I know about the gland issues, My mother has a thyroid problem. She needs to lose about 15 pounds.
